Proverbs 4:26,27 says "Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm. Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil."
It is very important to let God guide our feet and the paths that we take. We should not go places where we will end up doing what is wrong. We have two choices, we can either follow the path of righteousness that God has placed before us, or we can move in other, harmful directions away from Him.
In Psalm 23:1-4 we can see that God wants to guide us in the right direction and protect us with His rod and staff.
Colossians 1:10 says, "Walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God."
While you are practicing guarding you feet, why not take a walk with your family?
